Listening to criticism of the Lord is a sin too

Not only does criticizing the Lord, but even listening to such criticism leads one to the dark world of naraka. When posed with such a situation, if possible, one should raise objection. Else, it would be prudent to leave such a place immediately. Thus, states the Bhagavata.

Most people do not realize the contribution of ParashurAma to the kurukshetra war. He was the guru of Bhishma, Drona and Karna; in turn, Drona was the guru for the Pandavas, Kauravas and quite a few other princes. So, in effect, ParashurAma was the source for all the martial skills and knowhow used in the war.

Sri Vadirajateertha visited their village and witnessed their hardships. He placed down his Kamandala (spouted vessel carried by ascetics) in a field and prayed the Lord. A water spring then started from underneath the Kamandala.

May the name be auspicious

While the first name is negative, the second name is auspicious in all dimensions.
Thus, Śrīvādirāja has subtly exemplified to us as to how a child should be named.
