इति भक्त्या चिन्तयतां शुभकारी भवत्यलम् |
तत्राsपि कुर्वतां द्वेषं तमःप्राप्त्यै तथा भवेत् ||– भा.ता 10-15-34 ||
iti bhaktyA chintayatAM shubhakArI bhavatyalaM |
tatra api kurvatAM dvEShaM tamaH prAptyai tathA bhavEt
|| bh.ta 10-15-34 ||
Out of devotion, if one thinks of the punishment given by paramatma as an indirect boon, such punishment too will only bring good; On the other hand, if one hates paramatma even under such a situation, it will lead to andhantamas.
