Only God is fully independent. Due to His infinite qualities and independence, He is flawless. All His other qualities are on account of his single quality of being fully independent. On account of this, He is ever blissful. Due to this, He also steers clear of misery. Also due to this independence, He can create millions of universes as divine play, get them managed by the demigods, and even dissolute them in a wink at His wish. He is autonomous and can be jubilant that He has created none who would question His mischief.
He can get the souls (jīvātmās) to accomplish and give them merit as per those accomplishments without seeking their opinions. But He never does so, and there is perfect balance at every level. This is because God’s independence is closely accompanied by His mercy. Generally, if one has a position of power and sovereignty, they are most likely to be egoistic and proud. But despite being in such a lofty position, God is extremely merciful. Without desiring any fruits, solely for the sake of accomplishment and emancipation of souls, He has created the universe, resides inside and outside the universe in infinite forms in the inanimate and living alike, protects them, and alleviates them as per their respective fates without hostility and solely based on their eligibility.
Though He is at such an elevated level of independence, He comes down to earth and shows servitude unto His devotees. Who else, but our Supreme Father possesses such rich qualities? The Lord of the Universal Mother, the preeminent of Vedas, Lakshmi is truly rich.

He has created Lord Bramha as His eldest son and ordained him into creating the entire universe. He has created Lord Rudra as His grandson and anointed Him with the task of dissolution of the universe. “mr̥ḍam’mari” means Lord Rudra. “śacimanōram’ma” means husband of Shachi, Indra. “smaram’ma” also recited as “Swaraamma” means Kāma. Thus, Viṣṇu has made Indra and Kāma as His grandchildren. Swaramaṇa literally translates as one who does not speak happiness by any other means and is instrumental to his own happiness. Viṣṇu possesses the entire retinue of demigods as His acolytes. This paragraph says we pay obeisance to God who possesses such greatness.
